It is the ideal school to learn how to cook Thai food, to preservethe traditions for generations to come.Arrive to Chiang Mai and transfer toyour hotel for overnight accommodation.

day 2 : Doi Suthep Temple& Meo Hill-tribe Village

Have A Breakfast.

08.30 AM        Doi Suthep Temple & Meo Hill-tribe Village.(Half day).

A pleasant winding driveup to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the symbol of Chiang Mai, where the holy relic ofthe Lord Buddha is enshrined. 2 magnificent Nagas act as guardians as youascend up the steps to the temple.A splendid view of town and the surroundingcountry -side can be seen from the temple grounds. Drive further up themountain to visit a Meo hill - tribe village. Migrants from China, they chooseto live in self-sustaining villages while retaining their primitive culture,quaint customs and elaborately embroideried dresses. Return back to town.

Have A Lunch.

01.30 PM       HomeIndustries.(Half day).

A paradise program forshoppers willing to enjoy the fun art of shopping See world - renowned nativehandicrafts actually being crafted by master craftsmen and their assistants.Elaborateteak-wood carvings in hundreds of forms and sizes, intricate hand-madesilverware, high-fired celadon, lustrous lacquer-were, Thai silk and cottonbeing woven the ancient, traditional way on rustic wooden looms, primitivepaper making process, hand-made paper and silk parasols in a dazzling blaze ofrainbow hues. Watch skilled artists painting on parasols. High skill andendless patience is a necessary virtue to work in these industries.

day 3 : Cookery Class

Here, you will getto learn about local spices, ingredients, preparation and cooking local dishes,Thai sweets, fruit carving and food presentation, all you need to know aboutthe local culinary art.
